Autumn Leaves Lit-Up a Bopping Room with Happy Reunions & Great Sound

If you were there, you know. If not... well, you missed the NY Audio Show 2015 and didn’t get to meet—hear—some fantastic music played through some outstanding high-end audio gear.

Bender…together with GamuT’s Michael Vamos
hosted one of the nicest rooms at the show…
— Karl Sigman, Audiophilia

Wes Bender Studio NYC and GamuT—we—were thrilled to share the music with so many friends new and old. As Audiophilia’s Karl Sigman pointed out, the room was “bopping” and frequently SRO. We’re glad both he and Audio Stream’s Michael Lavorgna (and perhaps others) enjoyed the poeticism of Cannonball Adderly’s “Autumn Leaves” blowing through the room while falling leaves (of red and gold) did indeed drift by the window.

Many people enjoyed meeting the Pear Audio Kid Howard turntable with Cornet 2 tonearm, Transfiguration Proteus cartridge, Pear Audio Reference phono preamp, and EAR MC4 transformer we played through a debut performance of the GamuT Audio Di150 Limited Edition integrated amp and GamuT RS3 loudspeakers. It was a reunion of sorts for Stereophile’s Art Dudley who previously reviewed that Pear Audio turntable and Cornet 2 tonearm. We’re pleased the reunion was a happy one—for him, for us, and the audio system: “This system had especially fine stereo imaging, but with a good deal more substance than the high-end norm: There was timbral meat on these spatial bones.” (The New York Audio Show: Saturday Part Two)

NY Audio Show 2015 is a wrap. But you don’t need to go to a show to hear and see this high-end audio equipment perform. Give us a call to experience it for yourself!
